Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.

SSL or TLS encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator. 3. data collection on our website
Cookies
Some of the Internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies are used to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions that you have requested (e.g. shopping cart function) are stored due to the website operator's legitimate interest in the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analyzing your surfing behavior) are stored, these are treated separately in this privacy policy.

Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are

Browser type and browser version
Operating system used
Referrer URL
Host name of the accessing computer
Time of the server request
IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources.

Data processing is carried out in accordance with legal provisions that permit the processing of data for the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Contact form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

The data entered in the contact form is therefore processed exclusively on the basis of your consent. You can revoke this consent at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal e-mail. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

We will retain the data you provide on the contact form until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after fulfilling your request). Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

Registration on this website
You can register on our website in order to use additional functions on the site. We will only use the data you enter for the purpose of using the respective offer or service for which you have registered. The mandatory information requested during registration must be provided in full. Otherwise we will refuse your registration.

In the event of important changes, for example to the scope of the offer or technically necessary changes, we will use the e-mail address provided during registration to inform you in this way.

The data entered during registration is processed on the basis of your consent. You can revoke your consent at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal e-mail. The legality of the data processing that has already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data collected during registration will be stored by us for as long as you are registered on our website and will then be deleted. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Comment function on this website
For the comment function on this page, in addition to your comment, information about the time the comment was created, your e-mail address and, if you are not posting anonymously, the user name you have chosen will be saved.

Storage of the IP address
Our comment function stores the IP addresses of users who post comments. As we do not check comments on our site before they are activated, we need this data in order to be able to take action against the author in the event of legal violations such as insults or propaganda.

Subscribe to comments
As a user of the site, you can subscribe to comments after registering. You will receive a confirmation e-mail to check whether you are the owner of the e-mail address provided. You can unsubscribe from this function at any time via a link in the info mails. In this case, the data entered when subscribing to comments will be deleted; however, if you have transmitted this data to us for other purposes and elsewhere (e.g. newsletter subscription), it will remain with us.

Storage duration of the comments
The comments and the associated data (e.g. IP address) are stored and remain on our website until the commented content has been completely deleted or the comments have to be deleted for legal reasons (e.g. offensive comments).

Legal basis
Comments are stored on the basis of your consent. You can revoke your consent at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal e-mail. The legality of the data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation.

Processing of data (customer and contract data)
We collect, process and use personal data only insofar as it is necessary for the establishment, content or modification of the legal relationship (inventory data). This is done on the basis of legal provisions that permit the processing of data for the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures. We collect, process and use personal data about the use of our website (usage data) only insofar as this is necessary to enable the user to use the service or to bill the user.

The customer data collected will be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Data transmission upon conclusion of contract for online stores, retailers and shipping of goods
We only transfer personal data to third parties if this is necessary in the context of contract processing, for example to the companies entrusted with the delivery of the goods or the credit institution commissioned with payment processing. Any further transmission of data will not take place or will only take place if you have expressly consented to the transmission. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent, for example for advertising purposes.

Data processing is based on legal provisions that permit the processing of data for the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

4th Newsletter
Our newsletter and other emails sent automatically in connection with a purchase are sent via MailChimp, a service of The Rocket Science Group LLC based in the USA. The use of MailChimp essentially ensures that the emails are sent reliably and are more likely not to end up in the spam filter. The appropriate level of data protection for the processing of data by MailChimp is guaranteed by its Privacy Shield certification (list entry). We have also concluded an order data processing agreement with MailChimp.

Certified according to Privacy Shield
We do not pass on your data to third parties. However, there are exceptions to every principle. Since operating a large e-mail newsletter is anything but trivial from a technical point of view, we use a technical service provider to process and use the data. We made a conscious decision to use MailChimp as our newsletter service provider. The company offers excellent technical features, has very well-secured IT systems and first-class support. The Rocket Science Group LLC, which operates MailChimp, is certified in accordance with the Privacy Shield requirements. In this respect, the requirements for the processing of personal data by MailChimp in accordance with data protection law are met. The legal basis for the processing of data in the USA is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR: data processing on the basis of a balancing of interests. With regard to MailChimp, we are convinced that the technical and organizational measures taken by MailChimp achieve a high level of protection for your data.

Contradiction
Of course, every data subject can object to the use of their personal data at any time. This can be done by unsubscribing from our newsletter. This is possible by clicking on a link at the end of each e-mail.

Analysis of user behavior
Like other service providers, MailChimp offers statistical analysis options for usage data etc. The evaluation options are initially group-related. For example, we can see how many users an email was sent to, whether emails were rejected and whether users unsubscribed from the list after receiving an email. MailChimp can also be used to track the opening and clicking behavior of individual recipients. There are several reasons why we use this option:

We are convinced that we have an information mandate. We are very happy to fulfill this mission and our newsletter is part of it. However, with several thousand subscribers, it is also a cost factor, especially as MailChimp charges a small but not negligible fee per contact for its services. For example, if we have 300 people who receive our newsletter but never actually use it, we can save costs by no longer writing to these people. Tracking opening and click rates allows us to automatically delete recipients who have not used our newsletter for a longer period of time (e.g. six months).
We can offer better services by tracking click behavior. We can see which posts are read by which customers and provide this segment with further information on this topic. By tracking opening and click rates, we can better recognize which content is interesting for the recipients and which is not or less so. In this way, we write less about the topic and more for the readers.
After all, tracking opening and click rates also serves to increase sales. Of course, we also provide information in the newsletter about products that we sell. It is relevant for us whether parts of an email have led to a purchase decision or not.
As a rule, we only look at the tracking data in the form of aggregated reports. We do not look specifically at whether a user has clicked on this or that link, but rather what percentage of subscribers have opened the email and which links they have clicked on. The data of a specific person is usually only looked at individually if, for example, an error has occurred, a support request has been received or there has otherwise been a specific reason.

Other notes
If you open the respective email in a browser via the link provided in the email, you will land on a MailChimp website. Among other things, the web analysis tool Google Analytics is used there. Unfortunately, we cannot switch this off and do not have access to the corresponding evaluations. However, you can take the usual measures to prevent tracking by Google Analytics and via browser plug-ins, for example.

Description of the processing of personal data
When you subscribe to the newsletter list, we only collect your e-mail address. In this way, it is at least possible for you to use this service pseudonymously. We also store the address of the website on which the form you used to subscribe was located.

If you enter your e-mail address in the mailing list, this e-mail address will initially be stored temporarily by the list provider ("MailChimp"). The e-mail address is only stored for the purpose of sending the owner of the e-mail address an e-mail in which they can confirm membership of the e-mail list ("double opt-in"). Once the e-mail address has been confirmed, it is stored permanently by the list provider until the e-mail address is deleted by the owner of the e-mail address or by us. In order to be able to prove the entry in the list and to be able to defend ourselves against any accusation of unsolicited e-mail, the list provider stores the date of entry in the list and the IP address under which the entry was made. We have no influence on the fact that the IP address is stored, and we hereby expressly point out that the IP address is stored. Important: We do not use the IP address for any other purpose.

The following data is also stored by MailChimp:

Date of the last profile update
Geolocation & time zone: MailChimp carries out geolocalization based on the email address and uses a "geolocation service provider" to determine information about the IP address (geolocation data and any available location information). Geolocation is also used to determine time zones. This in turn is used for the simultaneous sending of newsletters at certain times if necessary.
Geolocalization is carried out both when subscribing to the newsletter and when opening newsletter emails.
Language information: If MailChimp can determine the language you have set from your browser when subscribing to the newsletter or when accessing links, this will also be saved in your profile. This function can be used in particular to create segments of subscribers according to language.
Groups & Segments: Sometimes we don't just send out one newsletter that is the same for all subscribers. Instead, we sometimes send different newsletters that are different. For example, newer subscribers may receive a different or separate newsletter or e-mail.

Delete your data
Every newsletter e-mail contains a note on how you can have your e-mail address deleted. Alternatively, you can contact us at any time. You can find our contact details in the legal notice or under Contact. Of course, you can also contact us for other questions regarding the protection of your personal data and, in particular, when exercising your rights as a data subject.

5. social media
Facebook
Links to the social network Facebook are integrated on our pages (Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA). These are purely conventional links. A connection between your browser and the Facebook server is only established when you click on such a link. Facebook then receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address.

If you share content from our site on Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to our pages to your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. Further information on this can be found in Facebook's privacy policy at: https://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php.

Twitter
Our pages contain links to the Twitter service (Twitter Inc., 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA). These are purely conventional links. A connection between your browser and the Twitter server is only established when you click on such a link.

By using Twitter and the "Re-Tweet" function, the websites you visit are linked to your Twitter account and made known to other users. Data is also transmitted to Twitter in the process. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Twitter. Further information on this can be found in Twitter's privacy policy at: https://twitter.com/privacy.

You can change your data protection settings on Twitter in the account settings at https://twitter.com/account/settings.

YouTube
Our pages contain links to the YouTube platform of the provider Google (Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). These are purely conventional links. A connection between your browser and the YouTube server is only established when you click on such a link. YouTube then receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you are a member of the YouTube platform, YouTube can assign your visit to our website to your user profile on YouTube. You can find YouTube's privacy policy here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/, an opt-out option here: https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated.

Links to the social network Instagram are integrated on our pages (Instagram Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA). These are purely conventional links. A connection between your browser and the Instagram server is only established when you click on such a link. Instagram then receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you are a member of the Instagram platform, Instagram can assign the visit to our website to your user profile on Instagram. You can find Instagram's privacy policy here: http://instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/.

Online presence in social media
We maintain online presences within social networks and process user data in this context in order to communicate with the users active there or to offer information about us. We would like to point out that user data may be processed outside of Switzerland and the EU. This may result in risks for users because, for example, it could make it more difficult to enforce users' rights.

Furthermore, user data within social networks is generally processed for market research and advertising purposes. For example, user profiles can be created based on user behavior and the resulting interests of users. The user profiles can in turn be used, for example, to place advertisements within and outside the networks that presumably correspond to the interests of the users. For these purposes, cookies are usually stored on the user's computer, in which the user's usage behavior and interests are stored. Furthermore, data can also be stored in the user profiles independently of the devices used by the users (especially if the users are members of the respective platforms and are logged in to them).

For a detailed description of the respective forms of processing and the opt-out options, please refer to the data protection declarations and information provided by the operators of the respective networks.

In the case of requests for information and the assertion of data subject rights, we would also like to point out that these can be asserted most effectively with the providers. Only the providers have access to the users' data and can take appropriate measures and provide information directly. If you still need help, you can contact us.

Facebook: We are jointly responsible with Facebook Ireland Ltd. for the collection (but not the further processing) of data from visitors to our Facebook page (known as a "fan page"). This data includes information about the types of content users view or interact with, or the actions they take (see under "Things you and others do and provide" in the Facebook Data Policy: https://www.facebook.com/policy), as well as information about the devices used by users (e.g. IP addresses, operating system, browser type, language settings, cookie data; see under "Device Information" in the Facebook Data Policy Statement: https://www.facebook.com/policy). As explained in the Facebook Data Policy under "How do we use this information?", Facebook also collects and uses information to provide analytics services, known as "Page Insights", for page operators to help them understand how people interact with their pages and the content associated with them. We have concluded a special agreement with Facebook ("Information on Page Insights", https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/page_controller_addendum), which regulates in particular which security measures Facebook must observe and in which Facebook has agreed to fulfill the rights of data subjects (i.e. users can, for example, send information or deletion requests directly to Facebook). The rights of users (in particular to information, deletion, objection and complaint to the competent supervisory authority) are not restricted by the agreements with Facebook. Further information can be found in the "Information on Page Insights" (https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/information_about_page_insights_data).

Processed data types: Inventory data (e.g. names, addresses), Contact data (e.g. e-mail, telephone numbers), Content data (e.g. text input, photographs, videos), Usage data (e.g. websites visited, interest in content, access times), Meta/communication data (e.g. device information, IP addresses).

6. analysis tools and advertising
Google Analytics
This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies". These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable your use of the website to be analyzed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Google Analytics cookies are stored on the basis of the website operator's legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising.

IP anonymization
We have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. This means that your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Browser plugin
You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Order data processing
We have concluded a contract with Google for commissioned data processing and fully implement the strict requirements of the data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Demographic characteristics in Google Analytics
This website uses the "demographic characteristics" function of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be created that contain statements about the age, gender and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google and from visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time via the ad settings in your Google account or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described in the section "Objection to data collection".

Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking
This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program of Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States ("Google").

As part of Google AdWords, we use what is known as conversion tracking. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie is set for conversion tracking. Cookies are small text files that the Internet browser stores on the user's computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used to personally identify the user. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.

Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are told the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by deactivating the Google conversion tracking cookie via your Internet browser under user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

The storage of "conversion cookies" is based on the website operator's legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising.

You can find more information about Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking in Google's privacy policy: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.
